2. Press Releases
Many people shy away from press releases because they don’t understand how to write them. They need to be written like a newspaper article, and in the third person. The problem that most have is that their press release comes off sounding like an advertisement. The best thing you can do to learn how to write a press release is to visit a press release website and read some that have already been written.
3. Search Engine Optimization
This is the best way to get organic traffic from search engine results. In order to get traffic from the search engines, you must optimize your content with the proper keywords that you want to rank well for. you also have to build backlinks to your content if you want it to rank high and get lots of exposure.
4. Free Classifieds
Some free classified sites receive an absolutely stunning amount of traffic. The good thing about these is that there are a lot of them. Some have a limit on the number of ads you can post, but many allow unlimited postings.
5. Email
Email is a great way to get traffic to your site. All you have to do is send out an email to all of your friends telling them about your new blog, and ask them to forward it to all of their friends. You can get hundreds, maybe even thousands of new visitors this way.

Paid reviews are absolutely wonderful. This is a great way to get your link on blogs with very high page rank and lots of traffic. You can get reviews done about your blog for as low as $1 or $2 in some cases. I ordered several paid reviews months ago that still bring dozens of visitors to my blog every day.
9. Yahoo Answers
Yahoo Answers is a fabulous source of traffic. There are many people in need of information, and if you have a post on your blog that you think will help them answer their question, you can leave them a link in your answer.
